According to the Ulster County Real Property Tax Service Agency, assessments were last updated

in Hurley, which also contains reservoir property, in 2004;

Marbletown in 2005;
Olive in 1953;
Shandaken in 1978;
and Woodstock in 2004.

Information for the town of Lexington, in Greene County, was not immediately available.

Based on current property assessments and equalization rates, estimated 2005-06 school tax rates per $1,000 of assessed valuation, with and without the large parcel law in effect, are as follows:

* Hurley: $11.59, an increase of 43 cents per $1,000, or 3.86 percent, with the large parcel law; $11.08, a decrease of 8 cents, or 0.73 percent, without it.

* Marbletown: $16.55, an increase of 61 cents, or 3.86 percent, with the large parcel law; or $17.70, an increase of $1.76, or 11.03 percent, without it.


* Olive: $1,932.31, an increase of $71.61, or 3.86 percent, with the large parcel law; $1,609.35, a decrease of $251.35, or 13.51 percent, without it.

* Shandaken: $37.38, an increase of $1.39, or 3.86 percent, with the large parcel law; $39.96, an increase of $3.97, or 11.04 percent, without it.

* Woodstock: $11.59, an increase of 43 cents, or 3.86 percent, with the large parcel law; $12.39, an increase of $1.23, or 11.01 percent, without it.


* Lexington: $11.59, an increase of 43 cents, or 3.86 percent, with the large parcel law; $12.39, an increase of $1.23, or 11.01 percent, without it.
